Discovering Her Passion

Started when she was 72 years old

We started to see her photos going viral in 2018 but she has been taking photos since she was 72 years old. Her son was a photography teacher teaching beginner’s course and she decided to enroll.

She’s very passionate and truly talented; her photos are unique, humorous and some of them are pretty technical. You can clearly see some principles of photography in her work.

Featured in Tokyo’s Epson Imaging Gallery

Her portfolio, Let’s play “Asobokane” (遊ぼかね) was featured at the front and center of Tokyo’s Epson epsite imaging gallery. It was one of her amazing achievements in the world of photography; and it just shows us that it is never too late to do anything.
